CLEAR SNOW FROM FIRE HYDRANTS
Due to the recent snowfall Logan City would like to ask residents who have a fire hydrant located near their property to shovel and clear the snow and ice in a three foot area surrounding the hydrant. If you do not have a hydrant near your home, look out for the nearest and help make sure it is clear of snow and/or ice. Remember, a clearly visible, accessible fire hydrant could save your home – or even your life. If a fire hydrant is lost or buried in snow, firefighters can lose valuable time trying to locate it when they first arrive at a fire. We appreciate the help of our residents with this service.
