The Original Baby Animal Days Celebration To Be Held April 5-8 in Cache Valley

Wellsville, UTAH—The American West Heritage Center will host its annual Baby Animal Days event from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 5-8 in Wellsville, just 6 miles south of Logan. The festival has become so popular that dates have been extended for an additional day to allow more opportunities for visitors to see baby bears from Yellowstone’s Bear World and cuddle lots of baby farm animals.
“Baby Animal Days is a unique experience for the whole family to share,” said Chris Schultz, programming manager.
The event, which heralds the coming of spring and its accompanying newborns, is extending one more day for more family fun. Visitors can pet baby lambs, goats, ducks, chicks, piglets, calves, bunnies, turtles and more. There will also be sheep-shearing demonstrations, pony and train rides, fishing, mechanical bull rides and much more. Games and activities will also be held on the mountain man, pioneer and 1917 farm sites. More days, more animals, and more fun!
Admission is $9 for adults, $7 for children ages 3-11 and $8 for military and seniors. USU students will receive $1 off with current ID, and all visitors can receive $1 off with the donation of any non-perishable food item at the American West Heritage Center ticket booth. Tickets are being sold in advance online at www.awhc.org . Gold Memberships will be available and can be purchased for individuals and families. Memberships include free admission and discounts to the Center’s various year-round events.
