USU’s NEHMA Brings Family Art Days to Gardener’ Market

LOGAN — Utah State University’s Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art (NEHMA) is excited to bring Family Art Days back to the Cache Valley Gardeners’ Market for summer 2017 starting Saturday, May 20.
The Mobile Art Truck continues to provide arts outreach programming while the museum is temporarily closed due to construction. Those who participate will have an opportunity to see how the Mobile Art Truck can transport ideas, art, and activities to the community.
Attendees are invited to get involved with the Gardeners’ Market and then stop by the Mobile Art Truck to participate in a fun, family-friendly art activity on the third Saturday of each month (May-September).
“The Mobile Art Truck is a great way for the museum to bring art to our community and make connections to NEHMA’s collection,” said Executive Director Katie Lee-Koven. “We are very excited to be taking Family Arts Day to the Gardeners’ Market again this summer.”
Family Art Day programming changes monthly and is always free and open to the public. These family-friendly events provide creative and educational hands-on experiences catered to all ages.
