Lehi City to Accept Passport Applications

U.S. Department of State Issues Acceptance Facility Designation

Lehi, Utah | June 21, 2018 – Lehi City now accepts passport applications on behalf of the U.S.
Department of State. U.S. citizens planning international travel may apply for their passports beginning
Monday, June 25, 2018.
The Lehi Passport Acceptance Facility, located at 153 North 100 East, will accept applications by
appointment only. The facility is open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Citizens can make an
appointment by calling 385.201.2279.
Lehi City began the process to become a passport acceptance facility last July as an opportunity to
better serve its residents. Community members can now pay utility bills, apply for a passport, and
conduct other city business in one easy visit.
“We are happy to offer this government service from our Lehi City offices,” Mayor Mark Johnson said.
“This will offer a more convenient opportunity for our citizens in the application for their passport.”
Residents wishing to apply for a passport should bring a completed passport application (using black
ink only), a valid photo ID, proof of citizenship, and a passport photo to their appointment. Lehi City
can take the passport photo for an additional fee.
