Name change reflects the local brokerage leader’s regional growth

MONTROSE, Colo.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#GoodToKnow–Jeff Keehfuss had an eye on expansion when he and his Montrose Real
Estate Group joined the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices network early
this year. Almost immediately, Keehfuss opened a new office in Durango
and next month will add a third location in Telluride. A Grand Junction
office is planned for early next year, Keehfuss said, with a target of
at least six additional offices over the next two years.
With operations stretching far beyond their Montrose headquarters,
Keehfuss and his team renamed the brokerage to reflect its regional
reach and influence. Starting today, the company is called Berkshire
Hathaway HomeServices Western Colorado Properties.
“We love Montrose – it will always be our baby – and our headquarters
remains in Montrose,” said Keehfuss. “Still, we needed a brokerage name
that would speak for our entire enterprise. We chose Western Colorado
Properties as it encompasses our presence along the Western Slope. We
also chose the name because of the high demand from consumers in nearby
towns wanting to work with a Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices member but
thinking our previous name was too geographically specific. Now we can
cover all of Western Colorado.”
Western Colorado Properties has been a sales volume leader in the
tri-county region of Delta, Montrose and Ouray in 2017 and 2018, with
extensive experience in residential, commercial, farm and ranch,
investment and foreclosure property. The brokerage is known for
progressive, agent-centric leadership focused on helping agents grow
their businesses and better serve consumers.
Brokerage Owner Lark Keehfuss said the company is recruiting as part of

The brokerage will commemorate its name change today with a customer

Townsend Ave., Montrose. Guests will include past and future clients,
Montrose city and county officials, members of the local chambers of
commerce and business alliances.
