Supreme Stakes: Understanding Sexual Violence Teach-In

This has been a heavy couple of weeks with Dr. Ford bravely sharing her story on a national stage. With nearly every news source covering these hearings, it can feel like we just need a space to breathe.
In a show of solidarity with survivors, the teach-in will feature scholars, students, activists, and artists who will share their perspectives on the public discourses of gender and violence, trauma, memory, the law, ans sexual violence against Indigenous women. We’ll learn with each other and how to translate our concerns to action as we #StandWithSurviviors. Come whenever you can, for as long as you can!
The purpose of this event is to provide a safe space to learn and talk about sexual violence and its impact and how we can be change agents in our communities.
