Where the Sagebrush Grows: A History of USU Homecoming Traditions

On Tuesday, October 9, the Merrill-Cazier Library presents Where the Sagebrush Grows: A History of USU Homecoming Traditions. This exhibit, in conjunction with USU’s 2018 Homecoming celebration, draws on material from the library’s Special Collections and Archives to illustrate the rich history of Homecoming on campus. The event is free and open to the public. Please join University Archivist Robert Parson and student curator Frankie Urrutia-Smith for the exhibit’s grand opening in the library atrium at 4:30pm. Following light refreshments, Dr. F. Ross Peterson, emeritus professor of history, will provide the gallery talk at 5:30pm in library room 101.
