October 10, 2018
HENDERSON, Nev.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Medata,
the leading medical cost containment technology company in workers’
compensation and auto liability lines, just opened a new office in
Henderson, Nevada.
Medata selected Henderson to expand its geographic footprint, according
to Dana Joanau, Chief Financial Officer. “Henderson offers an
exceptional business
climate conducive to our growing company. Medata has worked closely
with the city’s leadership with a shared entrepreneurial spirit to
develop an ideal work community in line with Medata’s vision to build
strong relationships with our employees, clients and community,” he
said. The 11,750 square-foot space will eventually be home to 100
employees in positions including sales, account management, nurse
reviewers, provider relations, IT professionals, and bill review
experts. Medata is poised to lease additional space on the same floor to
accommodate any faster-than-expected-growth.
“We grew to maximum capacity in our California space about two years
sooner than anticipated,” said Medata President Tom Herndon, who noted
that the company has seen double-digit growth each year for the past
five years.
While a few employees have relocated from Medata’s Irvine, California
headquarters, plans call for hiring locally, and candidates can apply at https://www.medata.com/careers/.
“There are opportunities for people with a wide range of skills and
backgrounds. Our objective is to create a warm and welcoming environment
to attract and keep the best talent in the industry,” Joanau said.
The new office is in the Eastgate Plaza at 450 North Stephanie Street in
Henderson, Nevada.
