USU Holds Free Speech Panel Thursday, Oct. 25

Utah State University is hosting a Free Speech Panel “The Public University’s Role in Protecting Freedom of Speech While Creating an Inclusive Environment,” Thursday, Oct. 25, at 5:30 p.m. in the Haight Alumni Center on the Logan campus. The event is free and pizza will be provided.
Utah State University cultivates diversity of thought and culture as part of its university mission. The presentation and panel will address the role of a public university in protecting speech while creating an inclusive environment.
Panelists include: Geoffrey Landward, Utah System of Higher Education; Josh Johnson, USUSA Vice President for Diversity and Clubs; Michelle Bogdon-Holt, USU Access and Diversity Center; Michael Melendez, Libertas; and Rep. Kim Coleman, Utah House of Representatives
The event is sponsored by the USU Institute of Government and Politics along with Aggies Think, Care, Act.
