Jeffery Leider

Jeffery Leider has supervised more than 250 productions at the Tony Award-winning Utah Shakespeare Festival where he has been costume director since 1986. A recently retired professor of theater at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, he taught classes in tailoring, fabric painting and dyeing, millinery and costume crafts. Leider has created headpieces and hats for ballet companies across North America. National audiences saw his work in Peter Pan, produced by the Milwaukee Ballet and recently broadcast on PBS. He has coordinated three USITT symposia and conducts master classes and workshops in millinery, fabric dyeing and corset making for USITT and other universities around the country.
