Deploying AI Technology that Works | ||||
Session Overview:
In this talk, Dr. Fayyad will cover Pragmatic Artificial Intelligence
(AI) and discuss both the history of what worked, why it worked and how
it worked. While the hype would have you believe the technology is
mature and ready, only certain parts of AI/ML work. In fact, claims of
general AI and machine learning should be considered harmful. The
general pattern in making the technology work is to have the right data
in place, and lots of it! This leads to the important role of data and
how big data plays a big role in making AI work. Fayyad will also
include case studies from chatbots, cybersecurity, and healthcare.
