The Singer As…Scientist Recital

The USU Department of Music is thrilled to present its three-part visiting artist and scholar series, The Singer As…, where we explore the various career paths of professional singers. The second installment, The Singer As… Scientist features internationally recognized voice teacher Dr. Scott McCoy. Dr. McCoy teaches at The Ohio State where he is Voice Area Head and also director of the Helen Swank Voice Lab. Dr. McCoy is also author of the pedagogy textbook Your Voice: An Inside View. This recital is the culmination of a residency of Dr. McCoy during which he works with USU voice students in a variety ways.
