CHaSS Alumni Lunch Series: Ben Kolendar

Sit down to lunch with Ben Kolendar, the Deputy Director for Salt Lake City’s Department of Economic Development. Prior to his current position, Ben served as Senior Advisor to the Executive Director of SelectUSA, a presidentially-appointed position and, as an official in the U.S. Department of Defense, he was dedicated to the development of Afghanistan’s economy

Ben has an MBA with an emphasis in globalization and international trade from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s in Philosophy from USU. He is also an alumni of USU’s Institute of Government and Politics internship program and one of three CHaSS Alums named to Utah Business Magazine’s 40 under 40 in 2019.

Please join us for lunch and have the chance to speak with Ben directly about his experiences working in both local and federal government positions. Due to Ben’s schedule, lunch will start promptly at 11:30AM.
