Human in the Helmet: A discussion on athletes and increasing mental health issues

In this public discusison about the increase in mental health needs among our athletes, current BYU and former USU Athletics’ Team Doctor, Dr. Darren Campbell, will discuss ways to recognize and treat anxiety, concussion complications, and the emotional aspects of dealing with injuries.

Also, a panel of professionals, coaches, parents, and athletes will participate in a Q&A session. Breakout booths with mental health experts and support group representatives will provide opportunities to learn about mental health resources.
