CNBC Personality Marcus Lemonis and WeWork Partner Julie Rice to Keynote ICSC’s RECon 2019

Leading entrepreneurs to keynote world’s largest gathering of
industry professionals with addresses that highlight innovation and
culture in future of retail real estate

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–lt;a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/ICSCRECon?src=hash" target="_blank"gt;#ICSCREConlt;/agt;–Marcus Lemonis, star of CNBC’s The Profit and Julie Rice, Partner
at WeWork will keynote the ICSC’s 2019 RECon conference in Las Vegas.
Over four days, RECon will showcase the innovations sweeping retail real
estate and feature speakers pioneering the future of the industry. The
central focus of this year’s show is how developers and retailers are
bringing the physical retail experience to life.

“Marcus and Julie epitomize the transformational changes happening in
our industry,” said Tom McGee, ICSC President and CEO. “Both possess an
entrepreneurial mindset, a customer-focused approach, and a passion for
innovative problem solving. This year, RECon will showcase more creative
and curated content for attendees, and we’re thrilled to have Marcus and
Julie share their stories and vision on this global stage.”

Lemonis will deliver his keynote on Monday, May 20. Known widely from
CNBC’s The Profit, Lemonis is chairman and CEO of Camping World,
Good Sam Enterprises and Gander Outdoors. The self-made millionaire and
serial entrepreneur also operates a chain of 20 Marcus stores through
his Marcus Lemonis Fashion Group, which promotes emerging women’s
apparel and accessories labels. At RECon, he will discuss his 3P’s
(people, product, process) principle— a philosophy by which he examines
a business based on the quality of its people and product, before
identifying the best possible process for the distribution and sale of
that product.

“A great retail experience is driven by a captivating product and the
human element,” said Lemonis. “Through my experiences, I’ve learned that
with both of these ingredients—great people and an excellent
product—there is limitless potential for innovation. I’m excited to
share on the RECon stage how retailers leverage the 3P’s to set
themselves apart in this evolving industry.”

Speaking on Tuesday, May 21, Julie Rice is Partner at WeWork where she
focuses on WeWork’s experience provided to its members and seeking new
and innovative ways to grow and share the WeWork experience around the
globe. Previously, Rice co-founded and served as Co-CEO of SoulCycle.
She was honored as one of Goldman Sachs’ n100 Builders + Innovators in
2013 and 2014 and voted one of Fast Company’s Most Creative People in
Business.

“Connecting with people and making them feel as though they matter is a
key component in finding success, said Rice. “RECon is about connecting
people whether it is through new deals or new innovations that will
enhance the customer experience.”
