USU Commencement is Thursday; College Convocations Thursday and Friday

Eric Hipple, former NFL quarterback, Utah State University alum and speaker on the importance of being mentally fit will serve as Utah State University’s commencement speaker for its 132nd undergraduate and graduate ceremony, Thursday, May 2, at 9 a.m., in the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum in Logan. College convocations begin Thursday, May 2, at noon and continue through Friday, May 3.

Hipple will receive an honorary doctorate along with Mehdi Heravi, a USU graduate, scholar, author and philanthropist; and Ronald W. Jibson, a USU graduate and retired chairman, president and CEO of Questar Corporation (now Dominion Energy).
