Idaho Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Announces State Star Award
BOISE, Idaho–(BUSINESS WIRE)–lt;a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/CSIEagles?src=hash" target="_blank"gt;#CSIEagleslt;/agt;–The Idaho Small Business Development Center (www.idahosbdc.org),
presented the State Star Award to Bryan Matsuoka, Regional Director, at
the annual Idaho SBDC Professional Development Conference.
Celebrating 23 years with the Idaho SBDC in Twin Falls, Bryan was
awarded the State Star under the criteria established by the Idaho SBDC:
Serve, Respect, Discover and Persevere. In the past twelve months, Bryan
has helped create 90 jobs in the south central region of Idaho and
continues to challenge his team to make valuable connections with
business owners in the community. He has continuously cultivated and
fostered a strong relationship with the Dean at the College of Southern
Idaho, with his team in Twin Falls, and many clients he has coached in
the community. More recently, Bryan spearheaded a bus tour consisting of
media and stakeholders to showcase local businesses that have continued
to grow with the assistance of the SBDC.

leaders that can make a connection with business owners and develop a
plan to help them succeed,” stated Doug Covey, Idaho SBDC State
Director. “Bryan has played an intricate role for the SBDC. He is able
to connect with his clients, motivate his staff, and is able to share
SBDC success stories with the College of Southern Idaho that have made
an impact on the Twin Falls community,” concluded Covey.
