Utah Higher Education Food Summit 2019

Nationwide, one in three students suffers from some level of food insecurity, and studies have shown that food insecurity is associated with lower grades and lower rates of completion.

This year, USU is hosting the annual, statewide Utah Higher Education Food Summit 2019. The summit gathers together students, staff, faculty, and administrators from campuses throughout the state of Utah, along with community partner organizations, to learn about best practices in fighting campus and community food insecurity, network with other fighters of food insecurity and food waste, and contribute to the statewide conversation about what we can change in our communities.
