Brown Bag lunch with Salt Lake Co.'s point person on illegal encampments of homeless persons

Join us for the SSWA Brown Bag Talk with guest speaker Jamie Pluta, Community Cleanup Coordinator for Salt Lake County Health Department. Lunch will be provided. 
Pluta has created a county-wide task force to abate illegal encampments of homeless persons throughout the county, while connecting campers to social services in the hopes that they will choose to get off the streets. Pluta’s work seeks to protect public health and address the encampments in a safe and humane manner. Lunch will be provided.
