HDFS Club Activity – Netflix Series 13 Reasons Why Discussion

The popular Netflix Series "13 Reasons Why" revealed the reasons behind the leading character’s suicide. However because of suicide contagion, many school systems banned students from discussing the series. One school did a 13 reasons why not project, in which 13 students expressed their own struggle and how they overcame those struggles. Dr. Meg Lachmar (HDFS faculty member) will present the findings from conducting five focus groups at the school.
