MEDFORD, Ore.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#BankLocal–Oregon Pacific Bank (ORPB) is thrilled to announce the official opening of its new Medford branch. The Bank has been operating in Medford as a Trust Office since 2012, with limited commercial loan origination capabilities. With approval from federal and state banking regulators the Bank’s location at 3250 Hillcrest Park Drive, Suite 100, will be opening its doors as a full-service deposit taking branch on March 9th, 2020.
Oregon Pacific Bank’s new Medford branch will focus primarily on providing relationship-based banking services to local professionals, business owners, commercial real estate investors and nonprofit organizations throughout the Jackson County area. The branch will share their space with the Bank’s existing trust services department, which offers corporate trustee and fiduciary services, and Oregon Pacific Wealth Management, LLC, the Bank’s wholly owned subsidiary investment advisory company.
“We have had the vision of strengthening our Medford presence with a full-service branch for some time,” says Ron Green, President and CEO of Oregon Pacific Bank, “but we needed to wait for the right team to come along. With the addition of Tom Skinner and Dawn Hartley, and their assistance in developing a Medford relationship banking team, we are more than ready to open our doors to start serving the business community with local community banking. We are proud to be one of Oregon’s remaining locally headquartered community banks and we are excited to contribute to the economic and social success of Southern Oregon.”
Skinner and Hartley joined Oregon Pacific Bank in November 2019 and have been instrumental in preparing for the opening of the Medford branch, which includes hiring a team of additional relationship bankers. Although the Medford branch is new, the team members hired to service Jackson County clients are well experienced, with many members having close ties to the community.
“Our Medford community is very special to me,” says Dawn Hartley, Relationship Banking Officer. “I have always enjoyed being an active part of the community, not just by helping local business owners as a banker, but as an individual, volunteering my time to make a difference on nonprofit boards and committees that are near to my heart.”
Over the past forty years, Oregon Pacific Bank has a deeply imbedded culture of caring, which includes a tradition of giving back to the communities it serves. With more resources now available in the Medford area, the Bank is excited for the opportunity to take a more active role in the Southern Oregon area.
“That’s what makes working for a community bank so rewarding,” notes Tom Skinner, Commercial Team Leader. “Oregon Pacific Bank is the perfect example of a community bank, taking in local deposits and lending them back out to the community. With a community bank, money stays local to help with growth and economic development.”
Those looking to visit Oregon Pacific Bank’s new Medford branch can do so starting March 9th, 2020 at 3250 Hillcrest Park Drive, Suite 100. The branch’s operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Oregon Pacific Bank will be waiting until closer to the summer to hold a grand opening community event.
