Aggie Parents Encouraged to Sign up for USU's Parent & Family Network

Utah State University is launching a service to communicate with parents of prospective and current students. USU’s Parent & Family Network is available to all Aggie parents so that they can receive customized, timely communications on admissions, deadlines, campus resources and more.

USU Admissions and Orientation launched the service with CampusESP, a parent engagement platform designed to keep parents connected and focused on student success. USU’s Parent & Family Network allows the parent to choose what communications they would like to receive and how often they would like to receive it. Communications include newsletters and targeted announcements.

“Parent involvement can be extremely influential when it comes to enrollment, retention and student success,” said Lisa Simmons, USU’s director of Student Orientation and Transition Services. “That is why we partnered with CampusESP to create the USU Parent & Family Network.”

By creating a free, online profile, parents can stay up to date on everything going on at the university, and how it applies to their student. There are currently more than 600 Aggie parents using the USU Parent & Family Network, and many more are expected to join in the coming months.
