Basics/Customizing Your Resume (HH 280): Depending on your major and industry, your resume may look different than one of your classmates. Although there are many resume “rules� that should always be followed, it’s important to tailor your resume for specific positions. Come to this workshop to learn resume basics in addition to customization.
Skills-Based Resume (HH 322): A skills-based resume does not follow a chronological order and works well for those who are in a career transition, ex-military personnel, or lack work experience in the field. Come to this workshop to learn more about when you should use it and how to format it based on your experience.
Getting Your Resume Past the Robots (HH 326): Did you know your application may be denied before a human even has a chance to review it? A large majority of Fortune 500 companies and a growing number of mid-sized businesses filter resumes through an applicant tracking system (ATS). Come to this workshop to learn more about how ATS work and how to make sure you are highlighting the right skills and experiences.
