The eLearnX is cosponsored by the Office of Empowering Teaching Excellence (ETE) and by the Center for Innovative Design and Instruction (CIDI).
This three-day event starting May 18th and located on Logan’s main campus. The workshop provides a hands-on deep dive into the teaching tools and methodologies of online, broadcast, blended, and flipped instruction.
Day 1 features sessions on e-learning pedagogy and course mapping.
Day 2 features breakout sessions on edtech teaching tools and practical applications of instructional approaches from USU instructors.
Day 3 culminates in the creation of activities and other useful resources than can be immediately implemented into courses.
The lunches and the company are great, but enrollment is capped at 30, so apply early. The event is geared toward current or future instructors, including graduate students, at both Logan and statewide campuses.
