Merlin Olsen Central Park Project Update

The Merlin Olsen Central Park (300 East Center) tennis court is NOW OPEN to the public. Screens will be installed on the south and north ends of the tennis court fence and Pickleball court lines will be added in approximately two weeks.

The basketball court is not open for play. There are two items that still need to be completed: (1) installation of perimeter fence; and (2) surface coat re-work on the west side of the court. Fence work will take place in next couple of weeks. Surface coat will be scheduled in the future and basketball rims will be installed. Work may take until the end of October to complete. In the meantime, Logan Parks and Recreation is asking the public to stay off the basketball court, especially bicycles, to protect the court surface.
