The South Eastern U.S. desperately needs our help. Hurricane Florence has shut down the Blood Dives in those areas. Red Cross is asking for help from our Region here in the West. More than 170 blood drives have been forced to cancel through this week due to Hurricane Florence, resulting in over 4,600 uncollected blood and platelet donations. Through our national inventory system, the Red Cross has the ability to move blood around the country to wherever and whenever it is needed most. There is a critical need for platelet and type O blood donations, please consider donating!
