LOGIX Fiber Networks Extends IP Transit Backbone, Delivering 100 Gbps Connectivity from North Texas to the Mexican Border

LOGIX and its Tier One upstream transit partners deliver unparalleled
redundancy and pricing

LAS VEGAS & HOUSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–LOGIX
Fiber Networks
, the largest independent fiber network provider in
Texas, and a leading provider of data center solutions, today announced
it has expanded its network to bring more affordable and highly
redundant 100 Gbps transit services to fast-growing Texas markets,
including Austin, San Antonio, and the cites of Laredo and McAllen along
the Texas/Mexico border.

By expanding its redundant DWDM
network
, LOGIX is helping customers meet the explosive demand for
Dedicated Internet Access. Additionally, LOGIX is experiencing high
demand from wholesale customers whose clients have nearly insatiable
broadband needs for cloud-based applications and transport to and
between Texas data centers housing vast volumes of digital content.

“We’re seeing exponential demand from our wholesale customers for IP
transit given the various kinds of business and consumer content their
clients need to access. This is especially true at the more than 100
data centers LOGIX connects to in Texas,” said Ryan Lahmann, VP, Carrier
Sales for LOGIX. “We have on-net fiber connectivity to more data centers
than any other independent provider in Texas, and our blend of Tier One
upstream IP transit partners gives our customers levels of redundancy
they might otherwise find unaffordable.”

LOGIX is earning IP transit business from other regional network
operators because the density of LOGIX’s network in markets such as
Austin, San Antonio, Laredo and McAllen enable LOGIX to offer
industry-leading pricing with redundancy and a powerful blend of
upstream IP transit providers.

“We have invested heavily in our fiber network, and we have also
cultivated strategic upstream relationships that give our wholesale
customers the convenience of multiple connection options, with the cost
and operational efficiencies that come with one account team and one
invoice,” said LOGIX Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer Richard
Rosmarin. “We believe there is no better wholesale connectivity company
in Texas than LOGIX for extending carrier networks to their customers or
backbone upgrades between carrier POPs and data centers.”

LOGIX is exhibiting in booth #109 at The 2018 INCOMPAS Show from Oct.
29-31. To schedule a meeting with LOGIX executives, please contact Ryan
Lahmann, VP, Carrier Sales at Ryan.Lahmann@Logix.com.

LOGIX has more than 6,200 route miles of network spanning 225,000 fiber
miles, which serves more than 12,000 enterprise and carrier customers
across Texas. LOGIX operates its own high-performance data center
facilities and connects to more than 100 data centers in Texas.
