Cooper Tire’s Discoverer AT34S™ Earns New Product Award at SEMA

LAS VEGAS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Cooper Tire’s new Discoverer AT34S™, an all-weather,
all-terrain tire for pickup trucks and sport utility vehicles, has been
named a New Product Award winner in the tire and related product
category at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in
Las Vegas, happening now through Nov. 2.
Recognizing outstanding achievements in the development of products
being introduced to the automotive specialty equipment market, the new
product awards competition considered nearly 3,000 products in 16
categories. The Discoverer AT34S captured the judges’
attention for its superior innovation, technical achievement, quality
and workmanship, consumer appeal and marketability.

Discoverer AT34S features Adaptive-Traction Technology™ to

silica-based tread compound and Cooper’s Secure-Grip™ five-rib,
all-terrain pattern to provide off-road driving capability and excellent
wet and dry traction. Its zigzag sipes improve vehicle stability while
reducing stone retention, and uniquely shaped deep center grooves reduce
hydroplaning. Severe weather rated, the Discoverer AT34S has
patented saw tooth technology designed to trap snow in the tread to
