Rosana Eckert Master Class

Rosana Eckert is a musician who wears many hats. She is internationally recognized as a live and studio vocalist, published songwriter and arranger, voice-over actor, and master teacher of jazz and voice. As a vocal artist, she has had the pleasure of performing with such jazz greats as Lyle Mays, Kenny Wheeler, George Duke, Jon Faddis, Bobby McFerrin, and the renowned vocal quartet New York Voices. Rosana has recorded four solo CDs of her original songs and jazz arrangements, and she performs regularly throughout the U.S. and abroad. Her debut CD, At the End of the Day, was praised as a “superior debut� by Cadence Magazine and was a finalist for Best New Jazz Album in the 2006 Independent Music Awards. Her last CD Small Hotel, was “highly recommended� by LA Jazz Scene reviewer Scott Yanow, and it features a guest appearance and liner notes by internationally renowned trumpeter Marvin Stamm. The project also features a duet with Rosana and Grammy Award-winning bassist Christian McBride which Jazz Times Magazine called “a stunning conversation.�
