Newsweek Ranks Empower Retirement among ‘America’s Best Companies for Customer Service’

Magazine recognizes the personal factor in business success

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#401k–Empower Retirement, the nation’s second-largest retirement plan provider,1
has been recognized by Newsweek for its customer service among
retirement planning companies.

In Newsweek’s inaugural list of “America’s Best Companies for
Customer Service 2019,” Empower Retirement is in the top three ranked
companies with which to save for retirement by U.S. customers who have
used the services, made purchases or gathered information about services
in the past three years.

In collaboration with analytics firm Statista, Newsweek selected
the companies based on an independent survey from a sample of more than
20,000 U.S. customers, who were asked whether they would recommend
brands to friends or family. According to Statista, they also were asked
to assess brands in the following areas: quality of communications,
technical competence and range of services, customer focus, and
accessibility. A total of 132,954 of customer evaluations were collected.

Newsweek collected and analyzed data across 141 retail
categories. The final list recognizes the top three brands in each
category and is published on the magazine’s
