Future Planning for the Logan River Golf Course Public Input Meeting
The Logan Parks and Recreation Department would like to invite the community to a public input meeting on Tuesday, January 29 at 5:30 pm.
This citizen involvement meeting will be held in the City Hall Council Chambers, 290 North 100 West, to review possible options for golf course management and seek public input.
Summary: Our golf course is in excellent condition, but for many years has required a subsidy of approximately $150,000 annually. We are discussing options to privatize course management, allowing us to use $100,000-$150,000 for other park needs. The City would maintain ownership of the property and all trails would remain open.
If you cannot attend the meeting, please email your written comments by Monday, January 28 to Mayor Holly Daines (holly.daines@loganutah.org) or Russ Akina, Director of Parks and Recreation (russ.akina@loganutah.org).
